“You don’t need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.”
The title draws from Bob Dylan’s song, Subterranean Homesick Blues, which conveyed the zeitgeist of an entire generation during the 1960s.
The orange skies and plumes of smoke suggest the California wild fires as well as the use of tear gas, the smoke obscuring the Civil Rights Protests.
There is a sense of growing conflict and confusion around which direction to take given the social and environmental turmoils.
